1993, Hugo Boss AG in Metzingen founded the men’s luxury label, Baldessarini, named after its creator and creative director, Werner Baldessarini.

In year 1994 the first Baldessarini collection appeared on the market in Europe.

In year 2009 the first eyewear collection was launched on the international market.
